We began western civ class today with Mr. Schick picking a group to present their power point. Mr. Schick cruelly decided to pick my group to go up. Luckily for us, our presentation wasn't finished and Kate and I told him that we couldn't go up. He reluctantly excepted it and picked another group to go up. The group picked was Sydney, Alex, Mackenzie, and Rachel. Once they got up and began presenting, the rest of class started to take notes the were important from their power point. A little bit after the presentation, nearing towards the end, Mr. Schick told us a story about a veteran he had seen who had a weird encounter with some pigeons. It was funny because a normal person would just scream or back away, but this man full-out hit the deck, in a very snazzy suit. After Mr. Schick finished his story, class was over and we had to get on with our lives. Too bad, it was a good class.
